ORGANIZATIONS & LEARNING PARTNERS
Partner with KIU. Expand Learning. Create Opportunity.
KIU works with international organizations, training agencies, educational institutions and independent organizations involved in areas such as health, business, engineering, leadership and development.
Through these relationships, KIU seeks to widen access to learning, professional training and international academic opportunities while building practical pathways for students and partner institutions.
Ways Organizations Can Work with KIU
The KIU partnership model includes learning-management centres, study centres, international foundation pathways and vocational training centres. Each model has different expectations relating to infrastructure, student support, academic administration, staffing and outreach.
01
Learning Management Center
For institutions able to recruit, support and manage students while maintaining academic records throughout the programme.
02
Study Center
For institutions with adequate faculty, infrastructure and experience in delivering learner support and face-to-face academic assistance.
03
International Foundation
For institutions with strong teaching infrastructure, labs, tutors and student counselling capacity for pathway programmes.
04
Vocational Training Centre
For centres able to deliver practical vocational programmes with qualified faculty, infrastructure and local industry support.
Learning Management Center (LMC)
A Learning Management Center is intended for an educational institution with the capacity to recruit and support students, maintain academic and performance records, and communicate effectively with the local market.
KIU expects the centre to be able to promote programmes through suitable channels such as newspapers, radio and social media, while providing consistent support to enrolled students throughout their studies.
Our Expectations
- Advertise through newspapers, social media and radio to reach prospective students.
- Coordinate with students during the admission process.
- Maintain academic records and student performance information until programme completion.
- Respond to student queries relating to KIU processes.
01
Educational Experience
Experience in running an educational institution or similar learning environment.
02
Admissions Counselling
Experience in counselling students on university admissions and academic pathways.
03
Financial Capacity
A sound financial background sufficient to support the responsibilities of operating the centre.
Study Center (SC)
A Study Center is expected to provide adequate infrastructure, qualified faculty and learner-support services for students enrolled in KIU programmes.
The centre should ideally be managed by people with experience in school or college-level teaching and should operate within a well-established institution, trust, society or company.
Norms for Establishing a Study Center
- Experienced leadership in school or college-level teaching.
- Hosted by a well-established institution, trust, society or company.
- Adequate faculty and infrastructure.
- Appropriate staffing and facilities for effective programme delivery.
- Completion of affiliation requirements before execution of the MOU.
International Foundation
An institution with suitable infrastructure such as laboratory facilities, teaching aids, qualified tutors and student-support systems is best placed to run KIU foundation and pathway programmes.
The institution is expected to identify and counsel prospective students, provide local support and have sufficient capacity to promote and administer the programme effectively.
Global Pathway Program
The Global Pathway Program is aimed at students preparing for progression into further degree study, including learners from education systems that may not provide direct entry to their preferred university or country.
Progression remains subject to the academic requirements, grades and admission conditions of the receiving institution.
01
Academic Preparation
Support students in developing the academic foundation required for future degree-level study.
02
Cross-Cultural Readiness
Help learners prepare for study and participation in diverse international academic environments.
03
Progression Support
Provide counselling and structured preparation for students seeking admission into further study.
Vocational Training Centres
Vocational Training Centres are expected to have the faculty, infrastructure and practical support required to deliver KIU career-focused and vocational programmes.
Where programmes require practical or laboratory exposure, the centre should have suitable local arrangements including relevant industry or health-sector links where appropriate and should support assessment and student queries in coordination with KIU.
Teaching & Accessibility
- Maintain its own qualified faculty to deliver KIU curricula.
- Establish appropriate local partnerships for practical or laboratory models where required.
- Support the conduct of examinations in coordination with KIU.
- Respond to student queries during the academic process.
