Doctorate Admission Requirements
Everything you need to prepare a complete doctoral application to Kesmonds International University (KIU America).
Before You Apply
Prepare all supporting documents in advance and ensure that scans are clear, complete and readable. Your application should be submitted to the KIU Admissions Office for review.

Proof of Work Experience
Provide an attestation of service showing proof of working experience in the required or related field you are applying for.

Published Article Reference
Provide a published article reference (DIO). If you do not have one, contact the university academic office for an alternative option at admissions@kesmonds.edu.cm.

Signed Motivation Letter
Submit a signed motivation letter explaining your reasons for choosing the programme, your commitment to study with KIU America and your willingness to respect KIU policies.

Undergraduate Academic Records
Submit scanned undergraduate transcripts and an attestation or certificate showing completion of at least 180 credits from an internationally accredited institution or an institution approved by an equivalent authority.

Graduate Academic Records
Submit scanned graduate transcripts and an attestation or certificate showing completion of at least 120 credits at Master’s level from an internationally accredited institution or an institution approved by an equivalent authority.

Identity Document
Provide a scanned copy of your international passport or national ID card.

Curriculum Vitae
Upload a current CV in PDF or DOC format.

Two Recommendation Letters
Arrange for two letters of recommendation to be emailed to admissions@kesmonds.edu.cm. Referees should have supervised you in an academic, employment or community service setting.

Passport Photograph
Submit a scanned 4 × 4 passport photograph on a white background.

Doctorate Registration Fee
Pay the Doctorate registration fee of USD 200.
Academic Documentation Note
The academic-record requirements refer to institutions accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or institutions approved by an equivalent authority.
