SUMMARY:Don't miss The Youth Progress Virtual Forum on June 10th
DESCRIPTION:Covid\, Climate and Commitment \nWe are at a critical moment in time. We need to align on how the world recovers from Covid\, how to make real climate action happen and how to protect and improve the quality of life for our young and future generations. The European Youth Forum\, and the Social Progress Imperative are hosting a live virtual forum on June 10th to bring these issues to the forefront with policy-makers\, business and civil society organizations. \nWe will preview the new Youth Progress Index\, a tool we developed to understand what is working and what isn’t for youth across the world. The practical framework can be used to identify and prioritize the pressing needs of young people\, remove barriers to their wellbeing and prosperity\, and provide the resources needed to shape a fairer society for the future. \nThrough in-depth interviews and discussions we will address issues such as: the best way to move forward with climate action; how we assess and repair the damage caused by the global pandemic\, from mental health issues\, to job loss\, \neducation disruption and more. \nIf we want to move people we have to move ourselves\, if we want to create change we have to change the conversation and if we want to make commitments happen we must commit to showing up. So join us on June 10th as we mobilise for change.
